贺兰石为宁夏"五宝"之一,是石雕工艺品的上等原料.其开发利用目前存在资源不清、采矿权设置不尽合理、资源盗采和破坏严重、开发利用水平不高、矿石和产品市场混乱等问题,建议全面勘查贺兰石资源,加强开采管理,合理配置资源,规范贺兰石矿石及产品市场,提升贺兰石开发利用水平.

Helan stone is one of the ＂five treasure＂ in Ningxia, which is considered to be one of the best raw materials for stone sculpture handicraft. There are a lot of problems for Helan stone existing resources, including not clear status in development and utilization, not rational mining right, illegal mining and destroyed, low level of development, confusion in ore market and more. The suggestion is put forward to explore resources overall, strengthen mining management, reasonably dispose the resources, regulate Helan stone ore and product market, improve Helan stone＇s development and utilization level.
