摘要
本文针对目前中学英语阅读教学中的普遍问题,以国内外学者提出的相关理论为依据,提出应将读写结合作为我国中学英语阅读教学的落脚点,并分别从读写结合对英语学习的重要性和读写结合在英语阅读教学中的重要作用的角度对该观点进行了论证。最后,为了达到以写促读和以写促学的目的,作者还提出了读写结合须遵循的四条基本原则,以帮助一线教师设计合适的“读后写”任务和正确实施“读后写”活动。
Based on theories proposed by scholars both abroad and at home, this paper argues that writing based on the reading text should he adopted as a most important post-reading activity in the middle school English reading class as a possible solution to the existing problems in reading teaching. In order to prove the necessity of the proposition, it first discusses the importance of combining reading with writing to English learning in general and then demonstrates its essential roles in English reading comprehension. Tile author at last suggests four basic principles for the school teachers to follow when they design and implement the post-reading writing activity in an attempt to guarantee the effectiveness of the activity so as to enable the students to "write to understand" and "write to learn" the language.
