香山文化与以八一精神、井冈山精神和苏区精神为代表的红色经典文化是中华文明宝库中的奇葩,是近代以来民主革命、社会主义革命与建设和建设社会主义小康社会的精神产物;二者因同具"革命"的基因与魂魄,故而在实现"救亡图强"和"振兴中华"为主题的中华民族复兴中一脉相承,谱写出民族精神的崭新篇章;香山文化和红色经典文化是区域及国家核心竞争力的重要组成部分之一,必须在新的历史条件下继承、弘扬和创新。
