Climate Change and Herdsmen's Fragility

在20世纪80年代以前草原牧民对气候变化没有太多的感觉,随着畜牧业生产制度的变迁,新的网围栏和圈养生产方式的引进,致使牧民应对气候变化的脆弱性逐渐显现。由于草原类型的不同,气候变化对草原的影响也有所区别。尤其极端天气是危害草原的第一杀手。气候变化不仅对草原有影响,对牲畜也会产生影响,这些影响直接导致牧民脆弱性的发生。

Before 1980s, herdsmen didn＇ tpay much attention to climate change. With changes of the animal husbandry production system and the introduction of the new fence and captivity mode of production, herdsmen＇ s vulnerability responding to climate change gradually appears. Because of the differences of grassland types, the influences of climate change to grassland are different, especially the extreme weather, which has serious influence on grassland. Climate change has effects on both grassland and livestock, and these effects directly lead to herdsmen ＇ s vulnerability.
