A Comparative Analysis of the Strategies for Phonetics Teaching in English and Chinese

汉语学习者学习英语语音的困难主要体现为:汉语语音系统中存在着某些英语音素的空缺,以及某些相似却又相异的语音要素。本文从声母、韵母及声调三个方面对汉语和英语语音系统进行对比分析,并以此探讨英语语音的教学策略。

Most difficulties for English learners from China are in the phonetics system of Chinese language. There is a lack of some phonetic elements and some phonetic elements seem similar but are actually different.This paper,from the three perspectives of consonants,vowels and tones,makes a comparative study of the two phonetics systems of English and Chinese so as to analyze the strategies for the phonetics teaching in English.
