ON THE 2-HARMONIC HYPERSURFACES IN A LOCALLY SYMMETRIC SPACE

研究局部对称空间中紧致的 2 调和超曲面与极小超曲面的关系 ,获得了这类超曲面关于第二基本形式模长平方的一个Pinching定理 ,推广了 [1,2 ]中的Pinching结果 .

In this paper, we study the relation between the 2 harmaonic hypersurfaces and the minimal hypersurfaces in a locally symmetric space and obtain a pinching theorem of the square of the length of the second fundamental form. Pinching theorems of the [1,2] are generlized.
