水洞沟遗址是国家级重点文物保护单位,具有社会环境良好,自然环境独特,历史文化悠久的旅游资源禀赋。基于遗址保护的水洞沟旅游开发,银川市政府应以保护促发展,以发展强保护为根本导向,优化总体布局规划,设计出保护与开发并重。历史遗址文化特色与现代旅游功能定位兼容的观光旅游产品、体验型旅游产品和主题型旅游产品。

Shuidonggou site, a national level cultural relic protection site, possesses a tourism resource endowment in terms of friendly social environment, unique natural environment and long cultural history. Yinchuan government should take facilitating development by protection and strengthening protection by development as the final goal and optimize the overall layout planning. In addition, products should be designed based on both protection and development, such as sightseeing tourism, experiential tourism and thematic tourism that have both cultural characteristics of historic relics and modern tourism function.
