摘要
本文通过语感调查证明:在现代汉语里,语义层面的限制性和描写性没有全局性的形式区别,不是用语法手段表达的语法范畴。人对客观事物以及属性与事物间现实关系的认识,是限制性理解和描写性理解的认知基础,这一认知因素在定语功能的理解过程中起着主要的和根本性的作用。
On the basis of analyzing questionnaire concerning linguistic intuition, this pa- per proves there is no global formal distinction in semantic level between restrictiveness and de- scriptiveness of modern Chinese attributives. The two properties are not grammatical categories co- ded with grammatical devices. The cognitive foundation for whether the function of Chinese attrib- utives is restrictive or descriptive is how people understand objective things and the actual rela- tions between the things and their properties, which plays a major and fundamental role in the process of understandin~ the functions of the Chinese attributives.
