Application of animal drugs have been analyzed in “Treatise on Febrile Diseases' from the aspects of principle of treatment, processing drugs, medicinal formula, therapeutic dose and form of prepared drugs etc, meanwhile, Zhang Zhong_jing′s experience on application of animal drugs is also summed up. So it can provide effective theory for clinical application.
