New Trend of Qualitative Research and Quantitative Research in Psychology

在社会人文科学的研究领域里长期存在着两种截然不同并长期对立的研究范式———质性研究与量化研究。这两种研究方法起源的历史社会背景以及哲学基础、操作方法都全然不同,当然它们各自都有着自身的优点与不足。随着时代的不断进步以及人们认识的不断深入,这两种研究方式相互辉映,并有相互整合之势。二者从最初的相互对立到现今的整合态势对于建构心理学的科学性与人文性并重的大心理学等都具有深远的影响和重要的意义。

In the research field of Social Science and Humanities, there have always been two approaches - qualita- tive research and quantitative research, opposite to each other and entirely different in the historical and social back- ground, philosophy foundation, and operational approach, with advantages and disadvantages respectively. However, as the age progresses and people further their knowledge, the two reflect mutually and tend to integrate. Different from the initially opposite, the present integration tendency plays a vital and profound role in constructing the senior psychology with equal stress on both scientificalness and humanity.
