The novel entitled Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is based on the '9.11' terrorist attack, which outlines people's traumatic experience from the child perspective and with the key as the unique clue. The paper analyzes the novel from the following three aspects;the traumatic memory of the witness, the narrative therapy of the trauma and the psychological resetting of the hurt.Ultimately,it maintain that the way of smashing the physical and psychological trammels and smoothing the inner wounds under the caring of family and society deserve to be deeply thought by people all over the world.
