名称指称的一种推理解释

An Inferential View Concerning the Reference of Names

名称语义认知研究主要由语言学家和语言哲学家来完成,这些研究对密尔、弗雷格和克里普克等人开辟的研究方向深信不疑。本文给出逻辑之维研究名称语义认知的必要性,试图提炼经典名称指称理论的逻辑特征,消除其边界。为了实现上述目标,我们提出一个关于个体如何确定名称指称的'推理解释',并从认知的角度给出诉诸语用解决语义问题的一个具体途径。

Generally,it is the task of linguists and language philosophers to study issues about the cognition of name semantics.People have no doubt about the approach advanced by Mill,Flege,Kripke and some other philosophers.The present paper offers the necessity of probing into name semantics from the perspective of logic,refines contemporary name semantic theories with the help of considering their logical characteristics,and argues that the refinement ultimately leads to the dissolution of boundaries among these theories.For this reason,we suggest an 'inferential interpretation' to explain how an individual fixes a name's reference.Through appealing to pragmatics thinking,the interpretation serves a logical way to solving semantic problems.
