宗教、教育与国权——张亦镜与近代中国收回教育权运动

Religion Education and Sovereignty: Zhang Yijing and the Movement of Taking back the Educational Sovereignty in Modern China

收回教育权运动是近代中国非基督教运动的一个重要组成部分,其矛头直指传教士所办的教会学校。面对教外人士的指责,以文字"卫道"著称的基督徒———张亦镜"挺身而出",从中国保守基督徒的立场出发对非基督教知识分子攻击教会教育事业的观点进行驳斥:否认教会学校充当了帝国主义文化侵略的工具,主张宗教与教育的统一,提出教育主权由教会中华人收回等观点。这些观点具有理性中充满激情、保守中又具开放性的特点。

Movement of taking back the educational sovereignty is an important part of Anti-Christianity in Modern China,which mainly refers to the administration of church supported schools.As a famous Christian spokesperson,Zhang Yijing refuted the attacking words to the church education from conservatives who defied that the church school is a cultural aggression of Imperialism.Zhang advocates the unity of religion and education and the educational sovereignty being taken back by Chinese in the church.Such an idea is rational,full of passion but open-minded.
