翻译中的中介语现象

Interlanguage in Translation

中介语由语言学家Larry Selinker提出,用以描写二语习得过程中出现的介于母语和目标语之间的独立的语言系统,但是中介语现象具有普遍性,它产生于语言发生接触时,最典型的语言接触就是翻译。译作语言受到语言迁移等因素的影响必将与目标语产生一定的偏离,因此可视作中介语。中介语与目标语的差异是形成翻译体的主要原因。

Interlanguage is put forward by Larry Selinker to describe the existence of a separate linguistic system between source language and target language in the course of second language acquisition.However,the distribution of interlanguage forms is of much greater universality： they are likely to occur whenever languages come into contact.The most typical situation of language contact is translation.Language in translation,which is bound to have deviations from the target language because of language transfer,can be viewed as interlanguage.The difference between interlanguage forms in translation and target language forms explains the phenomenon of ＂translationese＂.
