Curriculum for English majors is based on language skills.It aims at developing students＇ ability to use English in an all-round way by studying all the courses.However,language itself is a complex system and the use of language is also very complicated.Thus,language teaching and learning should be undertaken with a holistic approach.This approach provides grammar teaching and learning with more scope and makes grammar teaching and learning more vivid and practicable.
