Discussions are made on confusing matters about the protective equipotential bonding and protective earthing in combination with domestic and international standards. Furthermore, personal opinions are also put forward on functions of the vertical earthing main line of the electrical well along with the local equipotential bonding of the elevator machine room and the lift well.
