帅念祖家世生平及其在陕西的重农实践

Shuai Nianzu's Life and Measures of Developing Agriculture in Shaanxi Province

帅氏乃清代江西奉新望族,人才辈出,帅念祖是其家族之重要代表人物,其一生历官多地,乾隆初年出任陕西布政使;任上,帅念祖认真调查当地农业生产情况,上传下达,履行布政使职责,并协助刊印杨屾的《豳风广义》,推广蚕桑;帅氏亦颇关注当地百姓负担,丰年担心谷贱伤农,灾年积极奏请豁免或延缓赋税,还亲自撰写《区田编》,改良传统的区种法,推广抗旱高产技术,为清代陕西农业发展作出重要贡献,表现出良好的勤政作风。

The Shuais was a distinguished family in Feng Xin County of Jiangxi Province, and Shuai Nianzu was the representative figure. He was commissioner in Shaanxi Provinee during the early period of Qian Long. When in offiee, he investigated the local circumstances of farming, and helped print Bin Feng Guang Yi to spread serieulture. He also paid dose attention to the people ＇s livelihood and burden. Besides, he himself wrote an agricultural book named Qu Tian Bian to summarize the drought -resistant techniques. He contributed a lot to the agricultural development in Shaanxi Province during the early Qing Dynasty.
