摘要
提出一种适用于汽车车牌识别系统的灵敏且简易的算法。这种基于模板匹配的算法可收集实时车牌检测所需数据,以便达成用于研究或某些特殊应用的目的。该系统的模型用C++编程完成,通过抽取美国车牌进行实验,得出了对车牌字符进行识别的结果。
A smart and simple algorithm suitable for vehicle license plate recognition system is presented in this paper.Based on pattern matching,this algorithm can collect data needed by real time detection of license plates for surveying or some other special application purposes.The model of the proposed system is programmed in C＋ ＋,and the recognition results of vehicle license characters are derived from the experiment which extracts some American licenses plates.
