Abstract ：The 12 volume Kaiming Chinese Textbook edited by Mr. Ye Shengtao in 1932 was appraised as ＂a classic of primary school Chinese textbook＂, which has been republished by several publishing companies in recent years and has gained unprecedented reputation again. Experts all consider it as a nostalgia book which can recall the childhood memory of the old people, as well as a tutorial book which can provide refer- ence for teachers, and enlighten the intelligence of the children today.
