山西省农村英语教师专业化发展研究

The Study of Professional Development of Rural English Teachers in Shanxi Province

我国农村人口占大多数,农村的基础教育在促进农村地区经济和社会发展中发挥着很重要的作用,文章通过对山西省农村英语教师的专业化发展程度进行调查研究,分析了目前制约山西省农村英语教师专业发展的主要因素,指出促进农村英语教师专业知识结构和专业技术水平提高的途径,以期对加强农村英语师资队伍建设,改善农村地区英语教学质量,满足农村学生提高英语水平的迫切愿望,促进城乡英语教育的均衡发展有所帮助。

The paper, based on current situation of English teacher professional development in Shanxi rural areas, analyzes the reason why teacher professional development in those areas is hindered. Author tries to explore some suitable ways to help rural English teachers in Shanxi Province get professional improvement, as well as hopes to promote English teaching in rural areas and narrow the gap of English education between urban and rural areas.
