胡怀琛与南社关系之考论

A Study of the Relationship between Hu Huaichen and the Southern Society

考论胡怀琛与南社的关系,旨在阐扬胡怀琛对南社组织发展所作之贡献,同时挖掘其文学思想背后的"南社"因子。胡怀琛在南社的活跃期为第七至十一次雅集(1912-1914年),其间任南社的"会计员"和"子事",承担繁琐社务,并受托修改《南社条例》,代编《南社丛刻》第八集,对柳亚子的复社起到重要的斡旋作用。胡怀琛于1935年发表的《南社的始末》一文,首次对南社作全面介绍,客观上起到宣传南社、维护南社声誉的作用。作为成绩斐然的南社作家,胡怀琛的文学思想亦新且旧,具有南社转型过渡特征,其文学批评立场也受他的南社身份影响。

A study of the relationship between Hu Huaichen and the Southern Society is aimed at highlighting Hu Huaichen＇ s contribution to the organization and development of the Southern Society and at exploring the Southern Society elements behind his literary thought. Hu Huaichen actively took part in the 7 - 1 lth Literary Gatherings （1912 - 1914）, for he worked as an accountant and a secretary, performing tedious services for the Southern Society. Hu Huaichen was entrusted to modify Regulations of the Southern Society and to edit the eighth volume of the Southern Society Printed Series. In addition, he played an important role in Liu Yazi＇ s readmission to the Southern Society. Hu Huaichen made a comprehensive introduction to the Southern Society in his article ＂The Beginning and the End of the Southern Society＂ in 1935, which objectively popularized the Southern Society. As an outstanding writer for the Southern Society, Hu Huaichen＇ s literary thought is both new and old, with the characteristics of the Southern Society in its transition period. Moreover, His literary criticism standpoint was also affected by his membership of the Southern Society.
