《兰》是日本女性作家竹西宽子标志性的代表作。在《兰》中,竹西宽子撷取二战期间日本国内的一个生活画面,以其别具一格的女性笔触和敏锐的观察,为我们展示出一幅二战期间日本民众的众生图,揭示了战争给日本民众带来的困苦不安,表现了作者对和平的向往和追求。
Orchid is the masterwork of Hiroko Takenishi, a Japanese female writer. In Orchid, Hiroko Takenishi draws a life picture of Japan in World War II with her peculiar female writing style and keen observation. The work reveals the pains and upsets brought about by the war to the Japanese people, and conveys the writer＇ s pursuit of and yearning for peace.
