The Application of Sinamics S120 drive in the slitting and cut- to-length line was introduced, mainly for basic positioner function of drive. The basic hardware structure of electric control system of the slitting and cut-to-length line was briefly illustrated, the software design of the basic positioner function of the Sinamics S120 was described in detail, including call of FB283 block, configure of basic positioner function and compile of loop control program. At last the shearing part problem and relevant slove methods was illustrated.During the equipment operated in CSR Zhuzhou Electric Co.Ltd.,the control system is running very stable, greatly improved the production efficiency of the steel sheet.
