《现代汉语词典》第6版释义修订的类型及特征

文章对《现代汉语词典》第6版释义修订进行抽样调查分析,将调查范围内的369处修订归纳为释语修订、义项设置修订和释义综合修订三类。认为释语修订的主要特点是:多通过增加释语完善释义,补正释义疏失与反映词义发展并重;义项设置修订的主要特点是:所增义项多非"新义"而属"补义",较少涉及义项合并与离析,义项排列更注重词义发展顺序;释义综合修订多表现为因义项配置有所调整而对释语做相应的修订。在高度评价《现代汉语词典》第6版释义修订的同时,文章还指出个别修订不甚妥帖或不太到位。

This paper makes a sample survey of the definitions in Modern Chinese Dictionary(6th edition) and classifies the 369 revisions into three types,i.e.revision of interpretative language,revision of sense item installation,and the comprehensive revision of entry definitions.It argues that the characteristics of the first type are: improving definition mainly through the increase of interpretative language and putting equal emphasis on the correction of inappropriate definitions and the display of the semantic evolution of entries.The characteristics of the second type are: most of the sense items increased are not 'new'but 'complementary'senses,very few sense items have been merged or further separated,and sense ordering is more based on semantic evolution.And the third type is mostly reflected in the revision of the interpretative language based on the adjustment of sense item installation.While putting a premium on revising definitions in the dictionary,this paper also points out some inadequacies in this dictionary.
