Based on an investigation of bilingual signs in two A-- level hospitals in Jiaxing, the paper classifies and concludes improper translations collected. Besides, this paper discusses translating strategies and skills for medical terms in accordance with the traits of medical English. Moreover, the writer analyzes how to eliminate translation errors by adapting effective translation strategies, focusing on cultural differ- ences.
