After the two world wars of 20th century, Germany became deeply in debt. In order to repay the debts while recovering and developing its economy, Germany and its creditors countries have made enormous efforts. After the reunification of Germany in 1990, it repays the debts involved in the London Debt Agreement. However, the moral debt it owed to the Jewish people and Israelites can never be repaid.
