By reviewing three development in the history of human residential environment art design,the residential and environment design art in the future in China was discussed.As long as considering environment status and problems in the architecture and landscape design can play a good landscape effect and ecological benefits.Through the integration of urban and rural areas,the poetic art of living environment design,the development of medium-sized city and vigorously development of small towns,the early completion of the environmental objectives of the well-off living life with Chinese characteristics could be realized.
