摘要
元话语不仅仅是一种语言现象,而且也是一种修辞和语用手段。外语教师课堂元话语在课堂教学中发挥着重要作用。本研究通过自建语料库,结合定量研究和定性分析考察元话语在高校英语教师课堂话语中的应用情况,揭示元话语手段在相对广阔的语言环境中通过其相互协调和相互作用实现其多维功能性,并总结其运行机制,为外语教学和教师发展提供启示,扩展元话语的研究领域。
Metadiscourse is not only a linguistic phenomenon,but also a kind of rhetorical and pragmatic strategy,which plays an important role in EFL teachers' classroom teaching.Based on a self-complied corpus of EFL teachers' classroom discourse,the present study,utilizing both quantitative and qualitative means,investigates the use of metadiscourse in English classroom teaching.It explores the mechanisms of metadiscourse in a broad stretch in EFL teachers' classroom discourse through a multi-dimensional functional analysis,which establish a model on the metadiscourse devices in teachers' interaction-oriented monologue.This corpus-based study has further implications on EFL classroom teaching and teachers' development training.
