湘西南低海拔区早熟苹果新品种栽培试验

Test of New Apple Cultivars in Low Altitude Area of Southwestern Hunan Province

经过连续 4年的栽培试验 ,引种的杭伏、杭翠、杭棉、杭冠、杭艳 5个品种 ,杭冠表现最好 ,其次是杭棉、棉翠 ,杭伏可作为特色品种适当发展 ,杭艳产量低又不耐贮藏 。

Five early apple cultivars, i.e., 'Hangfu', 'Hangcui', 'Hangmian', 'Hangguan', and 'Hangyan', were introduced and planted. Four years later, it was found that 'Hangguan' showed the best performance in terms of yield, fruit quality and shelf life, with 'Hangmian' being the second best. 'Hangcui' and 'Hangfu' can both be extended moderately as feature cultivars. The former has a sour flavor and is not good for storage, but has a big fruit size and a high yield. The latter also has a sour flavor, its fruit size is small, but it is extremely precocious and prolific. 'Hangyan' showed a low yield and poor storage characteristic, and hence is not valuable for extension.
