摘要
与雨的交互是影响植物生长以及植物生态系统的一个要素.提出一种模拟植物与雨滴交互过程的计算机方法.先基于雨滴与叶片碰撞前后水质量守衡的假设和基于粒子系统的雨滴模拟,建立了雨场景模型.然后基于物理学中的动能守恒原理,模拟了雨滴在植物冠层三维空间结构中的传播路径.再通过雨滴粒子与叶片间的碰撞检测,模拟雨粒子作用下的植株形变过程.该方法已经使用OpenGL在NVIDIA GeForce3图形硬件上实现.结果表明,该方法不仅能逼真地模拟雨场中植物的动态变形,还能动态地模拟雨滴在植物冠层中的传输与分布情况.
Interaction with rain is a key factor affecting the development of plants and plant ecosystems. An effective method in this article was proposed to visually simulate the interaction between plant and rainfall. In this method, a model to describe rainfall was first built based on the hypothesis that the quality of raindrop was unchanging before and after raindrop knocked the leaf and the simulation of raindrops using Particle System. And then the spreading routes of raindrops among plant canopy were modeled based on con- servation law of energy in the discipline of physics. After that the deforming process of plant was simulated through collision detection between the particles of raindrops and leaves. The proposed method was realized on the graphics hardware, NVIDIA GeForce3, by u- sing the OpenGL functions. The experiment results showed that the proposed method can not only simulate the deforming motions of plant in the environment of rain, but also dynamically simulate the distribution status and the flowing status of raindrops among plant canopy.
