一种H.264亚像素全搜索的改进算法

摘要 H.264是一种高性能的视频编解码技术,它较之其他标准在很多方面有了很大提高,全搜索(FS,FullSearch)是块匹配算法最直接的实现方式,由于其在图像质量方面的优越性,常作为其他算法在图像方面的参考,但是由于H.264亚像素全搜索算法得到的点并非是全局最优点,提出一种新的亚像素全搜索算法.该算法搜索所有候选点,防止落入局部最佳点,有效避免了H.264算法的缺点.实验表明,新的算法优于H.264亚像素全搜索算法,能将图像质量提高0.3db左右.鉴于本文算法编码的图像质量胜于H.264亚像素全搜索算法,可将本算法作为其它亚像素搜索算法的参考,并在图像质量方面通过本算法来评测其它算法的优劣. H.264 is a high-performance video codec technology. It has greatly improved in many ways compared with other standard. Full Search is the most direct block-matching algorithm. Because of its superiority in image quality, FS often used as a reference to the other algorithm in image quality. Since H.264 algorithm possibly gets local optimal points, we present an improved algorithm to solve this problem. The proposed algorithm searches all possible points, prevent to get local best points and effectively avoid the dis- advantage of H.264 algorithm. Study proves that the improved algorithm can further improve the image quality for more than 0.3db as compared with H.264 sub-pixel full search algorithm. As this algorithm has better performance than H.264 sub-pixel full search al- gorithm in image quality , it can be used as a reference for other sub-pixel search algorithm and evaluate the merits of other algorithms in image quality.
