摘要
我们自主发现了陆地棉纯高秆突变系L046,其平均株高为132.5 cm,第一果枝节位平均高度为25.4 cm。以L046、正常株高棉花品种"新陆早16"为试验材料,通过杂交、自交、回交等方法,研究了该突变体的质量遗传规律。研究结果表明,L046的高秆性状是受一对完全显性基因控制的质量性状。文章最后讨论了高秆突变体在机采棉育种中的应用潜力。
A homozygous tall-stem upland cotton mutant, 1_046, was independently found by us, its average plant height was 132.5 cm, and its average height of the first fruit - branch node position was 25.4 cm. Through using L046 and Xinluzao 16 ( the normal plant - height cotton variety) as the tested materials, and adopting hybridization, selling and backcrossing methods, we stud-ied the qualitative inheritance law of this mutant. The results indicated that the tall - stem trait of 1.046 was controlled by a pair of completely dominant genes. Finally, the application potential of the tall-stem mutant in mechanically-picked cotton breeding was discussed.
