应用头环石膏辅助行颈椎融合

Halo-cast Fixation Apparatus Used as an Adjunct to Cervical Fusion.

目的 :观察应用头环石膏辅助行颈椎融合的临床结果。方法 :用本法治疗 2 1例创伤性颈椎不稳定病例。结果 :经临床观察和随访 ,治疗效果满意。 10例伴有神经损伤 ,其中 9例获得完全恢复 ,另 1例显著改善。在应用头环石膏背心固定器过程中 ,无神经损伤加重的病例。结论 :根据临床需要 ,该器械可行压缩、撑开、成角和中立位固定。该固定器是颈椎外科中很有效的一种外固定方法 ,具有操作简单、固定牢固和易于调整的优点。

Objective:To observe the clinical results of halo-cast fixation apparauts used as an adjunct to cervical fusion.Methods:21 patients with traumatic unstable of the cervical spine were treated by this instrument.Results:Results of the treatment were evaluated as satisfactory by clinical observation and following up study.Of 10 patients with neurologic deficients,9 became completely recovered and another 1 improved markedly.No patient had neurological deterioration while the halo-cast fixation apparautus were applicated. Conclusion:This new instrument can be applied in compression,distraction,angled or in a neutral mode according to desire.The fixation apparatus is a effective method for external immobilization of the cervical spinal surgery.The advantages of the fixation apparatus are a simple procedure,stable fixation and easy adjudtment.The method is suitable in the treatment of unstable of the cervical spine.
