摘要
《说文》"叚"跟"段"小篆字形左半略有不同,如依谭长所说,二字左半并无不同。古文字中,这二字左半的写法完全一样,都是"石"字。许慎于"叚"字字形"阙"而不论,把"段"字分析作形声字。实际上,"叚"是形声字,"段"是会意字。
There was a little difference between the left parts of duan（段） and jia（叚） in Shuowen xiaozhuan（说文小篆）. According to Tan Chang（谭长）, they were not different. In ancient Chinese characters, both of left parts of the two characters were the same shi（石）. Xu Shen（许慎） didn＇t know how to analyze the composition of jia（叚）. He said that duan（段） was a pictophonetic character. Actually, jia（叚） was a pictophonetic character, and duan（段） was an associative compound.
