运用第三空间概念,以弘扬图书馆公共服务精神,创造更加和谐的社会环境为目标,探索公共图书馆的功能再定位及其物理空间和数字虚拟空间的设计。提出公共图书馆作为信息共享空间、学习空间、文化交流空间的功能新定位,并对物理空间和数字虚拟空间的设计理念进行探讨。这些新的服务理念与服务模式的建立,将会使图书馆成为城市文化中心和象征,让人们在忙碌的工作、学习、生活之余,寻找到一个精神归属。参考文献11。

The paper applies with the concept of the third place and discusses the functions of public libraries, the design of physical place and digital virtual place in order to promote the spirits of public service. It provides the new function orientation of the public library as spaces of information sharing, learning, cultural communi- cation and makes a deep analysis of the ideas of design of physical place and digital virtual place. The establis- hing of new ideas and modes of service is to make library become the center and symbol of city civilization. It helps people find their own place to meet the spiritual needs after busy working, studying and living.
