Further Understandings to Mao Zedong’s Exploration to New China’s RuralDevelopment Road

新中国成立后,毛泽东就开始探索中国农村的发展道路问题,提出了农村工业化、农业集体化和实现共同富裕的思想并不断付诸实践。总的来看,毛泽东的有关探索,关于农村工业化问题,抓住了根本出路,但失之急于求成;关于农村集体化问题,抓住了基本特点,但失之求大求公;关于共同富裕,抓住了关键环节,但失之绝对化。这些经验和教训,都对中国特色社会主义建设事业具有重要的启示意义。

After the founding of new China, Mao Zedong began to explore China’s rural development road, proposed the thoughts of rural industrialization, collectivization of agriculture and achievement of common prosperity and put into practice continuously. Overall, on Mao Zedong’s relevant explorations: the issue of rural industrialization seized the fundamental ways but failed for haste; the issue of collectivization of agriculture seized the basic characteristics but failed for chasing large-scale and fairness; the issue of common wealth seized the key link but failed absoluteness. Those experience and lessons have important enlightenment to the cause of socialism construction with Chinese characteristics.
