The paper has briefly introduced the overall design of reconstruction and extension engineering of the second contract section of Guangqing Expressway, that is to widen both sides as a whole and widen two sides separately in some short section. The paper has introduced key technologies, including foamed cement, rigid connection of bridge substructure, survey of limestone area and pile foundation treatment.
