The Significance of Study and the Enlightenment of Study History in Japan

在思考该不该赴日留学这个问题的同时,从百年来的赴日留学史中我们得到了启发,留日学生对中国近现代历史发展与进步曾做出了重大贡献,并对中日文化教育和民间交流做出了重要的推动。留日学生的爱国主义、改革革命、振兴中华的精神和传统值得我们继承和发扬。现今社会,留学的意义有了新的使命,即不单纯是知识上的学习,更多的是学会生活、完善人格、培养内涵,学习国外新的研究方法,陶冶情操,感受异乡文明,经历一段异乡的人生转型。

Thinking about whether to study in Japan, one has to think about the enlightenment of study history in Japan from the past one hundred years. Students studying in Japan have made a major contribution to Chinese modem history de- velopment and progress, and greatly driving Chinese and Japanese cultural education and folk communication. Students studying in Japan have patriotism, reform the rejuvenation of the Chinese revolution, and the spirit and the tradition are worth being inherited and carried forward. Nowadays, the meaning of the study have a new mission, It~ not a simple knowl- edge learning, but to learn to live, to perfect personality, to cultivate connotation, to learn foreign new research methods, to edify sentiment, to feel foreign culture, to experience foreign life transformation.
