A Research on Action-Oriented Ideology and Local Textbook Compilation——A Case of English Textbook Compilation of Xinjiang Local Tourism for Vocational Colleges

通过分析高职教育旅游英语教材现状和存在的主要问题,寻找行动导向教学理念下契合新疆本土教材改革之处,探索如何编写适合新疆本土的现代旅游业发展的旅游英语教材,以促进旅游英语专业教学及新疆旅游人才的培养以及对新疆文化的推介。

The paper analyzes the status quo of English textbooks used in vocational colleges of Xinjiang for tourism majors,finding that there is little in content about Xinjiang local tourism and culture.Based on the analysis,the author contends that the compilation of English textbooks adapting to Xinjiang local tourism is in urgency.The research tends to seek for a way to the reform of Xinjiang tourism textbooks and explore how to compile tourism English textbooks in the action-oriented ideology adapting to Xinjiang modern tourism industry so as to cultivate more local tourism talents and make Xinjiang local culture well-known to the world.
