This paper analyzes the necessity of the practical research of the curriculum design of reduction device based on CAD technology.It introduces the practical methods to use the computer-aided design software to complete the course.It comes to conclusion that utilizing modern design methods is an inevitable trend based on CAD technology to conduct the curricular design of reduction device.
