In order to push forward building-up of Shanghai International Shipping Centre, Shanghai International Port Group （SIPG） taps the latent power, reforms and enlarges yards. The construction situation of Shanghai International Shipping Centre is introduced. The developing status of Shanghai Port, main cargo-handling technology and existed contradiction of port district are analyzed. Emphatically the methods of reforming and enlarging yards by some corporation are introduced, which enhance effectively productive capacity of SIPG.
