Combining with the achievements made by the major construction of the civil engineering at Yancheng Institute of Technology in 5 years,the paper explores the role of the major educational evaluation on the construction of the civil engineering major at regional colleges,illustrates it can enhance the talent training scheme,the construction of teachers＇ teams,the teaching conditions and the teaching reforms,and points out the education evaluation for the civil engineering major can further improve the major schooling and its education quality.
