MAC Protocol Supporting Video Transmission in UAV Network

摘要 针对无人机自组织网络视频业务传输的低时延需求,设计一种轻量级的最低时延保障接入协议(LADP)。该协议结合无人机作战网络动态性强、节点密度小的特点,采用多RTS周期、单CTS周期的特殊时隙结构和协同式的信道竞争机制。仿真结果表明,在载荷λ≤0.8的典型无人机网络条件下,LADP协议的最大分组接入时延控制在55 ms以下,可为视频业务提供良好的传输保障。 To meet the need of transmitting video in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) Ad Hoc networks, a light Media Access Control(MAC) protocol is lay out which can provide the lowest access delay, named LADP. LADP is composed of multi-RTS and simple CTS in structure considering high dynamicity and low density of the UAV networks, and coordinated-competing mechanism is applied. All that make LADP simple and low bandwidth-consumption. Simulation results show that LADP can provide reliable guarantee of access delay under limited load for UAV network when λ≤ 0.8, and the maximum access delay is below 55 ms.
