Foreign investors merging Chinese enterprises has become an important trend to the foreign direct investment (FDI) in China since the 1990s. It exerts great influence on Chinese economy. How to set the aim of regulating the foreign investor merger and acquisition (FIMA) is a problem in practice and theory to be solved. This paper focuses on the study and analysis of the background, theoretical basis and scope of the aim of regulating the foreign investors merger and acquisition.
