Discussion on English-translation problems of drug-parts of Chinese root-herbals in the Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China

从《中国药典》对"块茎"、"根茎"、"块根"、"根及根茎"和"根茎及根"的英译的不统一方面探讨了根类中草药入药部位的英译问题。

Some problems on English translation of drug-parts of Chinese root-herbals are discussed based on the translational disunity of ＂Tuber＂, ＂Rhizome＂, ＂Root Tuber＂, ＂Root or Rhizome＂ and ＂Rhizome or Root＂ in the Pharmacopoeia of the People ＂s Republic of China （Volume I）.
