通过对新加坡南洋理工学院“教学工厂”内涵的分析，阐述了教学工厂的作用：使学校成为企业的研发中心，企业成为学校的生产、实习基地，保证教学内容与企业的需求挂钩，培养学生的群体协作精神与实际应用能力。

With the analysis of the connotation of the ＂teaching factory＂ in NYP, the function of teaching factory is illustrated; the schools should be the center of research and development of the enterprises, and the enterprises should be the base of the schools＂ production and practice, so that we can assure the connection between the teaching and the demand of the enterprises, and cultivate the students＂ ability of corporation and actual applying ability.
