湖北碳排放与经济增长关系的实证研究

An Empirical Study on the Relationship Between Carbon Emissions and Economic Growth in Hubei Province

如何在保持经济增长的同时减少碳排放是实现湖北可持续发展面临的严峻挑战.借鉴以往研究成果,根据1980—2010年湖北碳排放等生产要素和GRP数据,对湖北碳排放与经济增长关系进行了实证研究.结果表明:碳排放是湖北实现经济增长的重要因素,经济增长在很大程度上以大量的碳排放和劳动力使用为基础,经济增长仍然保留着相对传统和粗放的模式.湖北应大力推进能源低碳化,建立有利于低碳发展的政策体系和市场环境,提升资本要素拉动经济发展的水平.

Reducing CO2 emissions with economic growth is challenge as well as strategies for sustainable development of Hubei Province. According to past research results, this paper makes an empirical research on the relationship between carbon emissions and economic growth based on the data of carbon emissions, other factors of production and GDP in Hubei Province. The study shows that the influence of carbon emissions is the essence of economic growth in Hubei Province, and economic growth, to a great extent, is based on large quantities of carbon emissions and labor force. The pattern of economic growth in Hubei Province still keeps some relatively traditional and extensive trails. We should energetically promote energy low carbonization, and establish the policy system and market environment which are conducive to low carbon development in Hubei Province, and enhance the level of the development of real economy which is pushed by capital.
