Jinling Women University is a university which enjoyed a high reputation both at home and abroad. Dur- ing the 23 years when Wu Yifang was the principal, this university gradually developed into a university with outstanding features, which include： the school-running concept： cultivating a sound personality and contributing to the society; view of personnel training： a comprehensive development of being both learned and professional; teaching management： rigid and flexible; student management： respecting for differences, student-oriented principle. All these school-running mea- sures are of reference to today＇s higher education.
