武警院校调整改革，将武警院校任职英语教育和开设英语课摆在了重要位置。从贯彻武警总部首长重要讲话精神和武警总部英语课教学研讨会精神等角度，论述了武警院校任职教育开设英语课的必要性；并从总体思路、基本方向方面，提出了武警院校任职教育开设英语课的初步构想，同时给出了相关的具体措施。

English teaching for on the post-oriented training has been put on an important po- sition with the restructuring and reforms of armed police academies. This paper expounds the necessity to offer English course for the education, It also puts forward some tentative i- deas concerning the general thinking and direction for offering the course, and presents cer- tain specific measures.
