摘要
随机选取中国学习者英语语料库子库中的80篇不同体裁的大学英语四级作文作为语料,主要以Coh-Me-trix为研究工具,从表层和深层两个维度考察不同体裁中作文水平对书面语连贯性的影响。独立样本t检验研究发现,作文水平对议论文和记叙文的表层语篇连贯性均没有显著影响;作文水平对议论文的深层语篇连贯性没有明显影响,而对记叙文的深层语篇连贯性有显著影响。
Based on 80 CET-4 writing samples of different genres randomly chosen from the sub-corpus of Chinese Learner English Corpus (CLEC), this artiele investigates the effects of writing proficiency in different genre on coherence from the perspective of surface and deep type by using Coh-Metrix, a natural language processing program. Independent sample t-tests indicate that there is no significant effect of writing proficiency on surface discourse coherence in argumentative writing and narrative writing; writing proficiency exerts no effect on deep discourse coherence in argumentative writing, while it has an effect on deep discourse coherence in narrative writing.
